CV

Kasane Low is a Sydney based artist, living and working on Gadigal Wangal Country, widely acclaimed for her installations, sculpture, performance and photography. Low won the People’s Choice Award for coveted Art on Paper Prize, and the Emerging prize for the installation Thousand Yards of Gold Thread. She has participated in international art projects in Paris, Berlin and China and has previously exhibited in Sculpture by the Sea Cottesloe. Low won a placement at the prestigious Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, founded in 1648, and the Win Brothers Cup Arts Residency in the Gobi Desert, Mongolia. Low holds a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Sydney and currently works as Arts Programs Officer, managing the Perfect Match Street Art commissions and EDGE arts festivals with Inner West Council, Sydney.
